1. 本アプリの機能と、必要となる権限

本アプリは、端末内のローカルファイルに加え、NAS（SMB共有）・WebDAV・FTP・SFTP・Google ドライブなど、ユーザー自身が指定した接続先のファイルを閲覧・操作するためのファイル管理アプリです。この目的のため、以下の権限・機能を使用します。

本アプリは、無料で提供するために Google AdMob による広告を表示します。広告の配信・不正防止・効果測定のため、AdMob は広告ID（Advertising ID）やおおよその位置情報（IPアドレスに基づく国・地域）、端末情報などを取得することがあります。これらは Google によって取得・利用されるものであり、詳細は Google のポリシーと規約をご確認ください。広告IDのリセットやパーソナライズ広告の無効化は、Android の「設定 → プライバシー → 広告」から行えます。

広告以外の目的でのアクセス解析は行っていません（Google Analytics、Firebase Analytics 等の解析SDKは組み込んでいません）。ファイルの内容・ファイル名・フォルダ構成が広告配信のために送信されることはありません。

本アプリ自身が取り扱う情報は、以下のとおりユーザー自身が入力した「接続先の設定情報」のみです。これらはすべて端末内に暗号化（EncryptedSharedPreferences／Android Keystore）して保存され、chibilab を含むいかなる第三者にも送信・共有されません。

本アプリは、ユーザーの選択によりGoogleアカウントと連携し、Googleドライブ内のファイルを閲覧・アップロード・ダウンロード・削除できる機能を提供しています。この連携には Google の Authorization API（drive スコープ）を使用し、ユーザーが明示的に許可した場合のみアクセスが行われます。

本アプリによる Google API から取得したユーザーデータの利用は、Google API Services User Data Policy（Limited Use要件を含む）を遵守します。取得したデータは、ユーザーがアプリ内で要求した機能（ファイルの表示・転送・管理）の提供にのみ使用し、広告目的での利用や、人間による閲覧（サポート対応・法令順守・セキュリティ上必要な場合を除く）は行いません。

4. 第三者への提供

chibilab がユーザーの情報を第三者に販売することはありません。ただし前述のとおり、広告配信のために Google AdMob が広告ID等を取得します（chibilab がこれらを保持することはありません）。NAS・WebDAV・FTP・SFTP・Googleドライブへの通信は、いずれもユーザー自身が指定した接続先との間で直接行われるものであり、chibilabがこれらの通信内容を取得・保存することはありません。

5. データの保存と削除

接続先の設定情報（サーバーアドレス・認証情報等）は端末内にのみ保存されます。アプリのアンインストール、またはアプリ内の設定画面からの削除操作により、これらの情報は端末から削除されます。Googleドライブとの連携解除は、アプリ内の操作、またはGoogleアカウントの「サードパーティによるアクセス」設定から行えます。

本アプリは13歳未満の児童を対象としたサービスではなく、児童から意図的に個人情報を収集することはありません。

Privacy Policy (English)

This application, "File Manager" (package name: net.chibilab.filemanager), is provided by the developer "stringmoji", operated by "chibilab", as listed on Google Play. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and whether it is shared with third parties.

1. App functionality and required permissions

All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required for the app's core function as a full-featured file manager, allowing users to browse, copy, move, delete, and rename files across arbitrary folders on local storage. The standard Android file picker (SAF) does not support this kind of cross-folder, app-native browsing, hence this permission is used. No data obtained through this permission is transmitted to any external server.
Query all installed packages (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES): Used for the App Manager feature (listing installed apps, extracting APKs, uninstalling apps). The list is shown on-device only and never transmitted externally.
Network / Wi-Fi state access: Used to connect to NAS, WebDAV, FTP, and SFTP servers, and for the Wi-Fi Share feature (accessing on-device files from a PC browser on the same Wi-Fi network).
Notifications: Used to show the status of background operations such as file copy progress or the Wi-Fi Share server.

2. Information we collect

This app is free and supported by Google AdMob advertising. To deliver ads, prevent fraud, and measure performance, AdMob may collect your advertising ID, approximate location (country/region derived from IP address), and device information. This data is collected and used by Google; see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services for details. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads via Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

No analytics SDK (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics) is integrated. File contents, file names, and folder structures are never transmitted for advertising purposes.

The only information the app itself handles is the connection settings that users enter themselves, as listed below. These are stored encrypted on-device only (EncryptedSharedPreferences / Android Keystore) and are never sent to or shared with any third party, including chibilab.

In-app settings such as favorite folders and display preferences

3. Google Drive integration

Users may optionally link a Google account to browse, upload, download, and delete files in Google Drive. This integration uses Google's Authorization API (drive scope) and only activates when explicitly granted by the user.

Access tokens are managed by Google Play services and are never stored by this app or on any chibilab server.
The app stores only metadata such as the display name of linked accounts, on-device.
Google Drive file content is transferred directly between the user's device and Google's servers as a result of in-app actions, and never passes through any chibilab server.

This app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data obtained is used solely to provide the file browsing, transfer, and management features requested by the user within the app, is never used for advertising, and is not read by humans except where necessary for security, legal compliance, or with the user's consent for support purposes.

4. Sharing with third parties

chibilab does not sell user data to third parties. As noted above, Google AdMob collects advertising identifiers for ad delivery (chibilab does not retain them). Communication with NAS, WebDAV, FTP, SFTP servers, and Google Drive occurs directly between the user's device and the destination the user configured; chibilab does not receive or store the content of this communication.

5. Data retention and deletion

Connection settings (server addresses, credentials, etc.) are stored on-device only. They are removed when the app is uninstalled or deleted via the in-app settings screen. Google Drive account linking can be revoked from within the app or via the "Third-party access" settings of the Google account.

This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
